Forget the pending World Cup, AOIF have made the regional finals to be played at Lystrup Idrætsanlæ 20/06/2018.
Never without some drama however, the lads started last week with a final home game loss to AFFC (1) 0-1. The foul mouthed and ill disciplined Lewis Fisher being shown a yellow card and surely ensuring traveling supporters leave their kids at home for future matches.
Things improved rapidly with a thumping away win over Vietnam FC (2) 1-5 last Sunday, to finish top of the league and confirm our finals spot. Goals came from Lewis Fisher (2), Rob Thomas, Ross Bissland and Sam Evans. Assists came from Ross Bissland and Andy Grantham. Man of the match was Ross Bissland, AOIF's all-time top goal scorer (28).
The lads now stand just one more evening away from their second league title in under 3 years as a formed club.
