A first time meet between these two clubs saw AOIF come out 2-0 winners on home turf. Without a single shot on target, the home side dominated a match filled with chances and a scoreline which really should have been more flattering. AOIF did well to keep their cool in a first half which saw two Virring players shown yellow cards and spend some time on the touchline
Goals came from in form striker Ross Bissland, to take his tally for the season to 6. A sublime assist from midfielder Wesley Bolger setting up the second. Return to the side for Carsten Assenholt.
Man of the match was Ross Bissland, closely followed by hard working defender Graham "The Telford Gobbler" Maclachlan and captain Jacob Toft.
