Indisk is a well-established, vibrant Indian restaurant known for its authentic flavours. Indisk has two restaurants in Aarhus, our first street kitchen started in 2017 at the popular Aarhus Street Food market. Our second self service restaurant was started in 2021 in Aarhus.  We pride ourselves on delivering the richness of Indian cuisine in short time while providing top-notch food quality to our esteemed customers. Our goal is to automate and standardise food chains to reduce operational cost and produce large quantity of food with best quality standards in Denmark.

 

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate business operations manager and digitalisation specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of our restaurants. As the Manager & digitalisation specialist, you will ensure the smooth functioning of the establishment, maintaining high quality standards, maintain the online platform.  Contribute to the digitalisation of our business to improve its efficiency and grow business. Your role will encompass various duties including but not limited to:

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity and streamline processes.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure efficiency and consistency in service.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, placing orders digitally for supplies as needed.
  • Implement and uphold health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Train and motivate staff to deliver top-tier service and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Create staff schedules and manage payroll in accordance with budgetary guidelines using our in-house management mobile application.
  • Create and maintain operational reports to track performance and present findings to admin. director.
  • Digitalise business processes and educate staff for new mobile  applications and maintain it.
  • Contribute to develop restaurant management mobile application and testing. 
  • Develop business model for franchising Indisk concept in Denmark. Standardise business operations and make sure all staff understand it.

Requirements:

  • Experience as an entrepreneur is a big plus, as this job demands strong hold on business operation, planning, decision making and business predictions working directly with the company owner.
  • Proven experience in business operations and managing staff.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively and coordinate with the team.
  • Proficiency in managing financial aspects such as budgeting and cost control. Annual report making.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Managing social media advertisement for business.
  • Knowledge of software tools for business development & digitalisation.
  • Provide support for the maintenance and improvement of self serving kiosk software and mobile applications.
  • Understanding business requirements and turning them into software requirements for mobile application developers.
  • Assist in testing and troubleshooting mobile application software to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Valid Drivers license B type in Denmark. Expect 10 to 20 days of travel per year.
  • Experience of Danish work culture & Danish and English language skills is mandatory.
  • Experience with Excel, programming language such as python is plus for data analysis & sales forecast.
