AOIF were back in action yesterday with a 2-1 home win against Samsø IK. The victory was marred however, with a second half shocker of a tackle on team utility man Sam "the catalyst" Evans. Evans received a lower leg fracture and faces a few weeks on the sideline. When asked today regarding his injury Evans commented by saying "bit of an overkill if you ask me".
Goals came from AIOF's all time leading scorer Ross Bissland, to take his club tally to 29 and a fine effort from Lewis Fisher, this seasons joint top scorer level with Rob Thomas on 6 goals.
