BEMÆRK: Ansøgningsfristen er overskredet
At Vialto Partners, we are currently looking for a Senior Associate to join our Global Mobility Tax team in Denmark.
You will work with clients from a range of industries and different geographical locations - some of them with a Danish headquarter and others with foreign headquarters having an entity or a branch in Denmark. This means that you will have the opportunity to deal with global HR/mobility teams and assist them in navigating complex tax and social security challenges that come along with a globally mobile workforce.
As we work in teams on all client engagements, one of our focuses is on maintaining a welcoming, open office culture where everyone, independent of grade, feels comfortable and valued.
We offer all employees flexibility and a hybrid working schedule, which allows you to work from home. However, to nurture our existing team spirit, you would ideally work from the office in Aarhus or Copenhagen a few times a week.
Duties and responsibilities
- You will act as the first point of contact for the client and have regular contact with specialists within payroll, immigration, and other global mobility related domains;
- You will assist the clients’ mobile employees with their practical personal income tax aspects and ongoing tax matters, including tax compliance;
- Together with a team of associates and managers, you will advise clients on the tax and social security aspects of employing people in an international context (both inbound and outbound);
- Having a keen interest in technology and being open to learning how it may be used to drive data driven solutions
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position possesses strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively. You thrive in an interdisciplinary and performance-oriented culture with high-expectations relating to the quality of your work.
You possess a critical mindset, good numerical and writing skills as well as a practical hands-on attitude. You would describe yourself as a go-getter with the desire to optimise and can identify with our mission of leading and evolving the global mobility industry through innovation and service excellence.
Skills and qualifications
The right candidate will have:
- A master’s degree in Law, Economics, or Business Studies or a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy/Taxation and/or strong knowledge of tax principles and the double taxation treaties;
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working with personal tax, preferably in a global mobility framework;
- Strong technical skills with an understanding of how to optimise processes through technology;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and on multiple projects simultaneously while delivering excellence to our clients.
- You live in Denmark and are able to work from the office in Copenhagen or Aarhus at least a few days a week.
What’s in it for you?
- A competitive salary and benefits package.
- A flexible working schedule including the possibility to work from home.
- Ongoing learning and development opportunities to expand and strengthen your knowledge and skills (both technical and soft).
- A workplace where everyone feels respected, valued, and free to be themselves.
- Frequent team events and celebrations.
Can you see yourself in the above description, then apply now! Submit your CV and cover letter in English to dk_ansogning@vialto.com.
