About the Position
We are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Manager to take over responsibility for the operation at Cabinn Aarhus.
With 400 rooms, this is a large and fast-paced operation where structure, clarity, and consistency are essential.
You will take over an existing team and play a key role in ensuring stability, strengthening standards, and continuing to develop a well-functioning operation.
This role is about leadership, structure, accountability, and care.

The Role
As Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for a team of approximately 20-25 housekeepers.
Your most important responsibility is people leadership.
This is a hands-on role with a mix of administration and floor-level leadership. The position is primarily weekdays during working hours, with weekends when needed.
You will:
Take over and maintain a structured and well-functioning daily operation
Onboard and train new employees to clear procedures
Ensure that every team member is properly trained and supported in their work
Address performance issues early and professionally, including difficult conversations when needed
Lead daily operations: staffing, planning, task distribution, and quality control
Take ownership of the operation and ensure it runs smoothly on a daily basis

Collaborate closely with the hotel and internal colleagues
You will be supported by The Ellen Group's HQ team and work closely with the hotel's management to ensure stable and worry-free operations.

About You
This role requires experience in both housekeeping and leadership.
We arer looking for someone who:
Has experience as a housekeeping supervisor or manager
Has a strong understanding of housekeeping operations and quality standards
Is comfortable taking over an existing team and building structure and consistency
Has led teams and takes responsibility for both people and performance
Is highly organized and structured
Is confident in following up on standards and addressing performance when needed
Is calm, fair and consistent
Communicates clearly and respectfully, even under pressure
Is comfortable working with planning tools, schedules, and systems (Excel, workforce planning tools, etc.)
Fluency in English is required. Other languages are an advantage.
