We are looking for an Offshore Travelling Technician who will work in the rotation system 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off. Department:

Offshore Service Resource is part of the Northern Central Europe Service Organisation in Vestas within the Offshore Service Resource area responsible for providing workforce solutions to work on service, improvement, optimization, and repair assignments within the offshore business.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with implementation
  • Aftersales Upgrades and reporting of statues
  • Up Tower specializes in repairs, end Warranty Repairs
  • Constructions service handover punch list works, support service sites with timely completion of appropriate works
  • Advanced troubleshooting
  • High Voltage Support
  • Ensure that the testing of project outputs is conducted methodically to validate and support the project mandate

You are expected to report on the status of the above and ensure that our procedures and instructions are followed, especially in relation to safety rules and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Legacy WTG experience
  • Wind industry experience for example Siemens’s level 5 or other manufacturers with an ideal minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Formal Mechanical, Hydraulic, or Electrical Qualifications
  • Experienced in all aspects of wind turbines, especially troubleshooting activities
  • Preferably with all GWO certificates required to travel offshore
  • Fluency in English
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft products and general IT, preferably with SAP experience.

  • Highly collaborative and team-oriented, with an open mind and cheerful outlook
  • Structured and independent, resourceful to solve issues even when little support is available, consistent, as the position requires traveling and in relation to working hours given
  • Good physical condition and ability to perform manual handling and working and heights

The primary location depends on the Vestas’s needs:

Belgium, Denmark, UK

The work schema is the rotation system: 2 weeks on/ 2 weeks off
