Research area and project description:
The rising tide of infections impacting the female reproductive tract represents a significant global health concern. These infections pose not only immediate health risks but also long-term reproductive challenges, underscoring the urgent need for innovative research and preventative strategies.
We are searching for a dedicated and passionate PhD candidate to join our cutting-edge project focused on unravelling the complex interactions between hosts and pathogens and their impact on tissue regeneration within the female reproductive tract.

Qualifications and specific competences:
A motivated individual must have a relevant Master’s degree with a strong background in molecular and cell biology, bioinformatics, Infection biology or a related field.
Someone passionate about understanding complex biological systems and eager to make a difference in global health.
Previous experience with organoid models, mouse work, CRISPR/Cas9, or omics technologies is advantageous.
