The Department of Clinical Medicine at Faculty of Health at Aarhus University invites applications for a position as a research assistant in experimental pain research as per 1 January 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter. The position is a fixed-term full-time position for max 14,5 months.

Your job responsibilities
As research assistant, your primary tasks involve conducting research on psychological aspects of acute and chronic pain. You contribute to the development of protocols, data collection, data analyses, drafting of manuscripts and participation in research meetings. In your daily work, you have a close interaction with competent colleagues.
Your main tasks will consist of: Research at the intersection of psychology, data science, and pain research, from experimental design to data analyses and scientific writing.
You will report to the Head of Department of Clinical Medicine, Jørgen Frøkiær.
Your competences
You have a background within psychology and experience with experimental pain research is required.
As a person, you have good interpersonal skills, are inclusive and team-oriented and able to contribute to a good work environment.
We expect you to be fluent in oral and written English.

We expect to conduct interviews in weeks 40-41.
Terms of employment
- Appointment as a research assistant requires academic qualifications at master's degree level.

- The appointment is in accordance with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (Akademikerne).
- Remuneration is in accordance with the above, and the Salary agreement catalogue for staff at Health.
